Born on May 25, 1996, Presently, assisting with the management of the firm of Blenman De Clou & Associates Co. Her focus is on ensuring that Client’s affairs are up to date and that all draft legal documents are meticulously drafted   in keeping with clients needs. Her areas of focus are Civil Law, Intellectual Property Law, Probate Law and Contract Law. Her passion continues to be areas involving Entertainment Law and Intellectual Property Law respectively. She believes that artistes are very vulnerable in today’s society, and it is crucial to protect their crafts from infringers.

Ama received her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Guyana in September 2019 at which time she was awarded a Credit due to her stellar performance at the undergraduate level. She then received her Legal Education Certificate from the Hugh Wooding Law School in September 2021, along with a Clio Academy Certificate which she obtained while completing her studies at law school.

In 2022, Ms. De Clou completed a Copyright Course from Harvard University. This course focused on the comparisons between Copyright Laws in the Caribbean and the United States of America. This course was only the starting point for the Ms. De Clou’s future in the Intellectual Law forum. She has all intentions to follow her passion and continue furthering her studies in the area.
